Maddie Callicott
Aspiring Agriculturalist
Résumé
I’m an aspiring agricultural professional with hands-on livestock management experience and a growing foundation in agribusiness finance, and ranch operations. I love work that blends people, problem-solving, and the outdoors, and I’m building a career where all three collide. Whether I’m managing grazing systems or supporting families as they make big decisions, I bring reliability, clear communication, and calm, practical problem-solving to every role. I’m especially passionate about advocating for small farms—the “little guys” who keep agriculture grounded, resilient, and human. Driven and adaptable, I’m committed to smart, sustainable practices and determined to help shape what the next generation of agriculture looks like.

College Project
During the Summer 2025 semester of college, I took the online course AGS 366, titled Livestock Enterprise Management.
The course consisted of multiple small assignments that combined to become a Comprehensive Business Plan for a FICTIONAL livestock enterprise.
I found the class to be highly practical. I choose to push myself to create a project that was well developed. I made the decision to base the project in Texas, so that I would be motivated to improve my research skills and become more familiar with an agriculture space that I had no first hand experience with.
